THE PROJECT
We were asked to carry out a topographical survey of a field which sloped down towards a small lake in the middle of the site. To aid with the design for the alteration to the land and adjoining property.
THE SOLUTION
The survey area covered the field, lake and adjoining road frontage. The survey followed our standard RICS specification including all trees and their species. The Topographical survey detail was captured using a combination of Leica Geosystems total stations & GNSS rover on a 10m level grid, marking all boundaries, earthworks, trees and vegetation.
THE RESULTS
Once all site works had been completed the survey team returned to the office to process the data and produce the survey drawings. The topographical survey were processed in LSS. Once the processing of the data was complete the information was exported to AutoCAD. The data was supplied to the client ahead of time as a digital survey in 3D and as a pdf file.
